The River. Oil painting on canvas, 12 x 12 in.

This is one of Tuck’s favorite views of Oregon’s magnificent Columbia River, cutting deep into the forbidding Cascades on its inexorable push to the sea.

Painted in eddies of saturated color in oil, The River was completed the beginning of October 2010, and captures the glow of Indian summers in the Columbia River Gorge.
